The importance of E2 visa
- Please ensure that you are in possession of the E-2 visa prior to arriving in Korea. You cannot attend the EPIK orientation, nor work in Korea, without the E-2 visa(except F4, F2-1 or F5 visa holders).
How to apply for an E2 visa
- 1 copy of your signed contract
- Notice of Appointment (from EPIK)
- Your passport
- visa application form (provided at the Korean Embassy/Consulate)
- visa application fee (varies among countries)
- 2 recent passport-sized photos.
- Original undergraduate diploma
- 1 sealed transcript issued from your university.
The date of E2 visa issuance
- It depends on the country and state, but normally it takes approximately 5~7 working days.
